  • 1 cup + 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
  • 1½ cups apple butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar

Instructions

  1. For the pie crust, combine flour and salt in a food processor. Add cold butter until crumbly. Gradually mix in ice-cold water until dough forms. Divide into two discs and chill for 1-2 hours.
  2. Roll out one disc and fit it into a pie dish. Trim and crimp edges.
  3. Pre-bake the crust at 375°F for 20 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine apple butter, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, flour, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour filling into the pre-baked crust and bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes or until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Cool completely before slicing.
