  • 1 teaspoon loose black tea leaves (or 1 tea bag)
  • 1012 mint leaves (plus for garnish)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup apple juice (or apple-flavored soda)
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a medium saucepan. Add tea leaves, mint leaves, and sugar; simmer for one minute.
  2. Strain the mixture into a measuring cup and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes and add 4-5 mint leaves to each.
  4. Pour in half a cup of apple juice followed by half a cup of brewed tea in each glass.
