  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef (thinly sliced)
  • 2 large carrots (diced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup hot boiled water
  • 1 tbsp Better Than Bouillon
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine hot water with Better Than Bouillon and brown sugar; stir until dissolved. Mix in soy sauce and set aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions until golden. Add carrots and cook until softened, followed by broccoli for another three minutes. Stir in minced garlic.
  4. Return beef to the skillet with vegetables and pour the sauce over the mixture. Simmer for about two minutes to combine flavors.
  5. Toss in cooked lo mein noodles and mix well before serving hot.
