  • 400 gram (14 oz) Fresh Lo Mein noodles
  • 250 gram (9 oz) Beef sirloin
  • 34 Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 23 Spring Onions (cut into 2" pieces)
  • 1 Bell pepper (julienned)
  • 23 Cabbage leaves (thin slices)
  • 56 Snow Peas
  • 1 Small carrot (julienned)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Dark soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Apple vinegar (or Water or Rice Vinegar)
  • ¼ tsp White pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sauce Mix
  • 1 tsp Corn starch
  • ¼ tsp Baking soda

Instructions

  1. Blanch fresh lo mein noodles in hot water for 1-2 minutes; drizzle with sesame oil and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together vegetable oil, soy sauces, oyster sauce, sugar, vinegar, white pepper, and cornstarch for the sauce; set aside.
  3. Wash and slice vegetables; cut beef into thin slices.
  4. Marinate beef in a tablespoon of the sauce for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat; sear marinated beef for 1-2 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Add harder vegetables first and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Create space in the wok, add noodles, and pour sauce mixture over them.
  8. Toss all ingredients together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with extra spring onions if desired.
